These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of wanderpath.co and all related services (the “Service”), operated by Vitalii Shevliakov, a sole proprietorship registered at Deventerstraat 184, 7321CG Apeldoorn, the Netherlands (KvK 42011587). By creating an account or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Wanderpath is a platform that publishes curated travel routes — including maps, waypoints, photos, GPX files, and practical tips. Routes are available either free of charge or as one-time purchases. Some routes are linked to scheduled guided tours that can be booked through the Service.
2. Account registration
You may browse most public content without an account. To purchase a paid route, book a tour, or post a review you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity on your account. You must be at least 16 years old.
3. Purchases and access
All payments are processed by Stripe. When you purchase a paid route you receive lifetime access to its digital content from your account library, including the right to download the GPX file and PDF version for personal use. Prices are shown in euros and include applicable VAT where required.
Each purchase is a separate contract between you and Vitalii Shevliakov as the seller. We never see or store your card details.
4. Refunds
Because digital content is delivered immediately upon purchase, you expressly consent to the start of performance and acknowledge that, under Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive, your right of withdrawal lapses once delivery begins.
We may still issue refunds at our discretion under the terms of our Refund Policy— in particular, when the content delivered does not match what was advertised or is materially faulty. To request a refund, email support@wanderpath.co from the address on your account within 14 days of purchase.
5. Tours and bookings
Tours that appear on the Service are scheduled by the listing author or guide. Bookings reserve a seat for you on the specified date and the booked seat is not refundable later than 14 days before the tour starts, unless cancelled by the organiser. If a tour is cancelled by the organiser you will receive a full refund.
6. User content
By posting a review or other content, you grant Wanderpath a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, store, and reproduce it as part of the Service. You retain ownership of your content. You represent that you have the right to post it and that it does not infringe anyone's rights.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer or scrape the Service in a way that interferes with its operation, (b) republish paid content in whole or in substantial part outside your personal use, (c) post unlawful, defamatory, or abusive content, or (d) use the Service to harass other users or our staff.
8. Intellectual property
The Wanderpath name, logo, and original written content are owned by Vitalii Shevliakov. Route descriptions are produced by our editorial pipeline and remain our property unless explicitly attributed to a third party. Photographs displayed on the Service may originate from Unsplash and remain under the Unsplash licence, with attribution to the original photographer where shown. Maps are provided by Mapbox and OpenStreetMap and are subject to their respective licences.
9. Travel disclaimer
Routes published on Wanderpath are informational and are followed at your own risk. Road conditions, seasonal closures, opening hours, prices, weather, and the availability of accommodation, fuel, and food change frequently. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any information and we are not liable for any decision you make based on it. Always verify critical information independently before travelling.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) EUR 50. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or data. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under Dutch consumer law.
11. Termination
You can close your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or close your account if you breach these Terms or applicable law. Upon termination, your purchased routes remain accessible for download for 30 days; after that they may be removed.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands. Any dispute arising out of or related to the Terms or the Service will be brought before the competent court of the district of Gelderland, the Netherlands, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules that grant you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced to registered users by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
